Description
Parkudden-Lövsta nature reserve (earlier called nature preservation area) is situated by Lake Mälaren, south of Lövsta manor. The old manorial landscape and the view over the lake together with Lövsta manor make this a very nice walking area. Around the point of land lies a previously made path. On the hill there are paths with steps. There is also a stone bench and an old summerhouse foundation. The silver firs that were planted here in the 1880: ies are spontaneously multiplying. Further east on the other side of the public road there is an oak pasture. On the oaks there are several red-listed lichens like the vulnerable lichen Calicium quercinum and the near threatened Schismatomma decolorans.
